About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would like to create more understanding amongst people. I would like to understand other people better and would like other people to understand me better. Travelling and meeting people from other culture helps this to accomplish.

ABOUT ME

I love to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds and get to know them better.I love music, play the piano and the guitar. I love hillwalking, cycling and any kinds of outdoors physical activities. I am very sociable and interested in foreign languages.
I love people with great sense of humor and I like kidding as well.
I love live music, concerts, they give me a lot of energy.
I love spending time with children.

PHILOSOPHY

We are here to enjoy life and help one another as best as we can.
My favourite quote is by Vonnegut. It governs my life:
"I asked Mark a while back what life was all about, since I didn't have a clue. He said, "Dad, we are here to help each other get through this thing, whatever it is." Whatever it is. "Whatever it is". Not bad. That one should be a keeper."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a flat in Budapest and I am glad to host other people. I only have one room in my flat and I am currently sharing it with a friend until the end of this year. The flat is otherwise completely my own property.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couchsurfing experience, although I registered here years ago I haven't participated yet because I was living abroad, in Scotland, in a rented flat. Now that I moved back to my hometown I will be more active.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock music, folk music, grunge music, classical music.
Books: everything by Kurt Vonnegut, Nick Hornby, others of my favourite books would include Life of Pi, The Power of Habit, Buddha's Brain, and many other books about psychology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many beauties of Hungary, the hills around lake Balaton. The beautiful landscape of Scotland, especially Glecoe. I have cycled a lot among the amazing mountains in Romania as well.
