ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old Irish person with no ambition in life other than to spend as much time traveling as physically possible! I'm currently traveling around the Balkans, mostly sleeping in my tent and hitch-hiking 😁

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I did STUDY philosophy a bajillion years ago so I'm an expert on this one....

My main philosophy on life is fairly basic... Treat others as you'd like to be treated. (may have robbed that one from Jesus 🤣)

I've done a fair amount of hosting and surfing (though I was useless at getting reviews cos I did most of it through friends' profiles 🤣).

I'm more recent years I was traveling with my ex so no hosts would accept us 😭

Interests

I love reading, bellydancing, yoga and a plethora of other hippie shit. However, most of all seeing the world and meeting loads of new people in my travels (I know, how original😝) !

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a movie buff but Leon is my favourite film of all time! Music wise my tastes are extremely varied - like everything from The Smiths, The New York Dolls, The Stooges, The Cure and Joy Division to Kendrick Lamar! As I've said I more or less eat books but I like most classic literature and anything by Doris Lessing but I also love plenty of theoretical stuff and anything to do with etymology..!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was a guest of honor at a remote Tibetan monastery in the mountains of far Western Sichuan, China. The lama there is one of the main figures in Tibetan Buddhism and he was so incredibly kind to us! We were the first foreigners to ever visit and it was an incredible experience!

Well... I'm very open to all sorts of experiences so I'd like to think that I can offer any host a new slant and a different perception of their city!

I'm very outgoing and can entertain you with some crazy stories, like how I got arrested by the Kyrgyz police!
