About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy every moment. Learn from people and different cultures. When I'm travelling, do what I feel like and not what I'm supposed to. Learn from everything and everyone.

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly and outgoing. I really enjoy meeting new people and learn things from them and their cultures, hobbies and experiences. When I start talking I consider myself very active if I feel comfortable! In my everyday life I usually stay at my job during the weekdays, but I usually find other activities to do during the evenings. I'm almost always down for a beer or a chat, go climbing, watch a movie or of course enjoy a live concert. Music is my passion and I love talking about that topic. During the last years I also realised I love speaking English and talk about different languages and topics from different cultures! I love deep conversations in general, about any topic.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to avoid the easy life of living and get as many experiences as possible specially now that I'm young, as it will help me out to grow as a person. Normally I follow my instincts more than the way of life I'm supposed to follow. Simple life is boring, but simple things are beauty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I opened my profile a few years ago and as I'm living with my parents I barely had the chance to host noone. However I've been surfing in Serbia and it was amazing. Looking forward to surfing again soon and to host people as soon as I become independent.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Willing to repeat soon!

Interests

My main interests are music and travelling to the mountains and hike. I enjoy concerts and cultural visits too, both things help me to get to know the people and culture of the cities I'm visiting. I'm also a bikeaholic and love getting around a city and its surroundings with a bike! Now I'm starting with photography and I also like technology, nature and party, of course :p. I love meeting new people and chatting with them while going out! I also like cooking and learning new recipes from all around the world :D (street food is a must in every trip)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
-Lately I'm very into jazz soul funk afrobeat and the so called (at least in Spain) black music. I've listening to jamaican music (reggae and ska) for a lot of years, and I appreciate lots of other styles as rock, hard-rock, hiphop, singer-song writers and some more. I've played in several bands and I really enjoy discovering new stuff, although I didn't listen to international bands very much until á few years ago. I don't like commercial music too much, but I can stand it if I'm having fun with the people I'm with.

Movies- I don't have too much experience as I don't see so many films, I can say I like Tarantino and Stanley Kubrick movies in general, but although I like watching movies, I don't really follow any actor or director...pending subject! The same with series and TV, but in this case I don't regret not following them. I don't watch TV at all.

Books.- Pending subject too, I always regret about this but I just prefer other hobbies right now. My last novel was 1984 by George Orwell and I liked it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the most amazing experience in my life is the Erasmus in Lund I took a couple of years ago.
Having a band and going to play to more than 60 concerts all around Aragon was definitely a nice experience, with more than 60 crazy nights about friendship, music, travels, problems, parties and get to know new people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some of the languages I know, some Spanish and not Spanish recipes, how to use the manual mode of your camera, some music theory or how to play a song with guitar! As I studied engineering I can help you with maths or electronics (that sounds more boring, doesn't it?)I can also give you some guidelines to travel in the Aragon Pyrinees, Zaragoza, Munich or the Bavarian alps if you are planning to do it in a future. About learning, I'm quite open because I always feel I have lots of things to learn...often if I'm with a native english speaker I ask them to correct my mistakes or I just stop the conversation to ask a grammar or vocabulary thing, and I do the same when someone tries to improve their Spanish with me.

What I Can Share with Hosts
