About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to visit every country in the world!
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in A Estrada (Galicia, Spain). At the age of 17 I began my studies in Physics at Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain) and I recently completed them at Imperial College London. Shortly I'll start a MPhil in Scientific Computing at the University of Cambridge.
Apart from physics I like to reflect on various topics such as psychology, sociology, or politics. I love discovering new things and traveling, to meet people and to experiment. I believe our world is fascinating and that we can all learn from each other.
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is heavily based on optimism. Everything is just better if one maintains a cheerful nice attitude about it. I love learning something new everyday, traveling and socialising.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love traveling! On the last few years I have been able to pick up nice deals in low fare flying companies like Ryanair. That has allowed me to visit about 12 countries in which I've met friends and discovered new cultures. I've always stayed in friend's houses, and now I just want to travel even further and meet people from other countries using coachsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've travelled to plenty of places staying in a similar fashion as coach surfing proposes, but never used the service directly. I've stayed in international friends houses who I barely knew and enjoyed meeting their friends and culture. I can sleep anywhere, no matter how uncomfortable. I want to travel and make more friends abroad!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love films, some of my favourite directors are Stanley Kubrick, Sergio Leone, Martin Scorsese, Alfred Hitchcock, Akira Kurosawa, Quentin Tarantino... The list is endless
Regarding music I enjoy a variety of styles including Jazz, hard rock, and electronic music, and I have listened to a lot of stuff, from mainstream well known bands to alternative underground ones. It is very difficult to find something I do not like.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I consider one of my biggest achievements to have been able to get into Cambridge university without actually not having any money at all and coming from a disadvantaged background. I have worked very hard to get this chance and I am truly motivated about it.
Other nice stuff I've done includes buying a one-way ticket to Warsaw with a couple of friends on summer 2011, and getting to travel to Budapest without spending almost any money (sleeping in the streets, hitchhiking, and eating what nature provided us with). The best part was crossing the Karpatos mountains by foot.
All my travels have been amazing in one way or another. Some have been mainly to visit friends, others rather an adventure with nothing planed on beforehand.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love the idea of Teach, Learn, Share. I would be able to teach about physics (if anyone is interested) about the places I've been in (specially Spain and the UK, where I've spent the most time) about university related topics, and much more stuff.
I would like to learn about everything! Just to have the opportunity to spend a couple of days with someone in another countries, getting to see what they do in that country on a daily basis fascinates me. I believe that's the way of traveling and learning about different cultures.
