The busy life of a medical student makes one sometimes forget about the the simple pleasures of life. On 2012 summer, I decided to start the thrilling but frightening experience of traveling on my own because I thought it was high time I started to become a confident person with no insecurities so as to express my full potential. Three years later, I'm not sure enough if I've accomplished this mission, but it's true I've changed a lot thanks to all the people I've met and the experiences I've shared. I guess Seneca was right when he said t takes the whole of life to learn how to live.

Unfortunately, traveling doesn't occupy the majority of my time. Here, in Barcelona, I try to live my life as intensely as I can. Medicine is one of pillars of my life. It has taught me a lot of positive values such as compromise, sacrifice, hard-work or love. It makes see the saddest facet of human life and consequently value every moment of your life as it was the last.
