CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMME OFFERED

This year 2017, I would like to do a cultural exchange programme. I am opening my home to a couch surfer, a volunteer to come and stay with me for a couple of months so that I can learn their way of life and they can learn about my way of life.

Since I am working during the day, the volunteer/couch surfer can volunteer at an an orphanage that I used to live in which is dear to my heart. If the couch surfer is not interested in volunteering, they can find anything to keep them busy while I am at work.

The accommodation while staying with me will be free, as for the meals, the couch surfer can pitch in for half of their share.

ABOUT ME

i quit my job in 2014, went and spend two weeks in zambia, what an eye opener, i went back and found another job. in 2015 travelled to namibia and couldnt believe myself when i saw the sand dunes and the sea in one area, how stunning. same year i went back to where i did my uni, capetown, wore different types of swim wear in one day to celebrate being near the beach. damn dont you just hate it when you see rich people having so much fun coz they can afford everything. yeah i do however i dont let hate win i rather get inspired and go back and work hard. this year i wanna go to mozambique and be hosted by a couch surfer. i have hosted a number of people however i have never been hosted.

PHILOSOPHY

i dont want to be in shackles put on by cultural or religious beliefs, i want my mind to reign supreme and live the best life i can, and have my own family and spread my wings. i hope those that knew me when i was young will never get to recognize me coz that would be testament to my exponential growth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i joined and allowed people to come to my house, once i changed jobs in 2014 i kinda stopped i had a lot going on. Now i am back, hope to participate fully.

Interests

i love, love, finding new places, i love going places and feeling rich, not monetary rich. for example when you are on holiday you are in the richest state of your life, i mean you work for no-one, you set your own schedule for the day.
e.g you wake up in the wee hours of the morning coz you wanna start early to explore the city, you go to the beach, you taste the sea water. the water feels good on your body. that was cape town for me

in swakop i was taken back by the sea and the desert that is found laying side by side.

Music, Movies, and Books

i used to have favourite books, but now i dont i just learn from the environment, from people from the way life unfolds on a daily bases.

movies: as good as it gets. what that movie taught me is that if you dont take risks in life you will end up like those characters that i saw in the movie. taking what life throws at you.

music- right now i am listening to popular music not because i like, i do it to stay relevant. to be engaged. funny thing is its actually fun to dance not listen to popular music because the lyrics are self destructive
