My name is Simon and im 22 years old and live on a balcony in århus, denmark. Im very interested in music, nature and love having deep conversations and a beer or two from time to time.

Right now im the booker at a venue in århus, but eventuelly I will study graphic technician (I think).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to eventuelly travel somewhere, and I think one can't truly experience the beauty of a country without interacting with the locals, so couchsurfing sounds like something just for me.

Also I would like to get visitors from elsewhere as well. Love meeting new and adventurous people.

Interests

I enjoy music a lot and listens to so much different. I think the most important thing in a piece of music is the atmosphere it creates. I also play guitar myself and currently member of danish atmospheric black metal act Sunken (www.sunkendenmark.bandcamp.com).

Also im interested in nature, books, deep conversations, cooking and lot lot more.

Movies: One of my favourte movies is Into the Wild. Also really love Shawshank Redemption, Taking Woodstock, Midt om Natten (old danish movie featuring Kim Larsen).

Books: Currently finishing Henry David Thoreau's Walden.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing I can think of right now is when I was in the faroe islands and experienced the grindadrap (whale kill). I was out in the boats to lure the whales to the shore and on the beach helping the faroese get the whales up on land. An amazing experience to see people catch their own food.
