Hi there!!!

My name is Gabi, I'm so glad to meet you! I'm 35 years old and I'm the proud mum of a gorgeous 2 year old boy, who is my joy :) Apart from my son, I'm also a passionate traveler. Actually travelling is my most favorite thing in the world. I love an adventure so hitchhiking and couch-surfing are always the best option for me. :)

I've pretty much hitchhiked through half of Europe in Serbia, Macedonia, Italy, Herzegovina, Greece, Bosnia, etc. And I've been lucky enough to go as far as Cambodia, Thailand and a few other amazing spots in Asia.
For me travelling is never about fancy hotels and trendy touristy places, I like to discover countries the way local people experience them. I always try to see the off-map spots, cool local bars and beer places. I also love nature and I'm always up for a hike and discovering some secluded locations.

I love travelling both alone and with friends and I always try to meet local people and experience the local, culture and food first-hand. I've met some of the most amazing and interesting people (some still my friends :)) while on my travels so for me the meeting new people is part of the experience.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think any place is best experienced through the local people. It is not just about the place but about the experience and memories you share with people. Also I've discovered that some of the best restaurants, cafes, cultural places, nature spots are not in the tour guides and really only natives can point you out to them.
I would love to meet new , interesting people and understand how they experience life in their native towns . I like sharing my experience from my country and my travels. Most of the people I've met have not only shared part of their life stories but also showed my some amazing places and even taught me to cook local food. :)

I also like to cook some traditional Bulgarian food for my hosts and (even if not modest!:)) I must say most have loved the food. I like good wine and beer too :)

兴趣

As mentioned above the biggest passion of my life (apart from my son) is travelling. I love travelling - anywhere, in any way, with or without friends. I am open to any and all destination and just love the excitement in the preparation of a trip, arriving in a new place to discover a completely different world, meeting people....every single aspect.
I also love hiking and sleeping out in nature. I used to spend weeks in camping at the seaside in Bulgaria, at the Black Sea coast. Having a barbecue and a good beer with an open fire at night is the best experience ever. :)

音乐、电影和书籍

I love rock music, especially the retro rock. My most favorite bands are AC/DC , Roxette, Queen. But I also appreciate some other music styles like for example I appreciate Madonna (the old stuff), Michael Jackson, Metallica. Basically, I listen to pretty much everything though, I'm not too picky! :)

When it comes to movies I like the classics such as Pretty Women, Hannibal, The Shawshank Redemption. I also like European cinema and in some of the places I've visited local cinemas and seen non commercial films.

I traveled, hitchhiked and slept in a tent when I was 6-month pregnant. It was a great experience and yes, that's how much I love travelling!
