I'm currently living in Oslo, Norway for a semester abroad. Therefore, I'm not able to host or meet up in Vienna anytime soon now.

CURRENT MISSION

Combining the goals of making the world a better place in many different ways and enjoying my own personal life at the same time!

ABOUT ME

I'd say that I'm an open-minded, down-to-earth and kind-hearted university graduate in the field of Social Work who's passion is to get to know people and what drives them and to explore the beauty of our little planet.

In general you might should know that I don't drink, don't smoke and don't eat meat (yeah, no fish as well since people keep asking) - still I think that I can be quite fun to hang out. :)

And just quickly a short glimpse into the history of my main adventures abroad so far:
2013: 4 months of internship in Berlin, Germany
2014: 4 months of studying in Oulu, Finland
2014: 2 months of volunteering in Bolzano, Italy
2014: 6 weeks of solo traveling through Europe (Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom, Iceland)
2017: 1 month of internship in Basel, Switzerland
2019: 6 months of studying in Oslo, Norway

PHILOSOPHY

There is something special and amazing in each and every person, you simply have to really listen to them . To sum it up: Just don't judge a book by its cover!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my very first Couchsurfing experience in July 2014 and I enjoyed it a lot from the very beginning since I was able to figure out quite quickly that it's not just about finding a place to sleep in a foreign city but especially about diving into the reality of the locals, sharing (cultural) knowledge/experiences/perspectives and enabling the possibilty of building up a global network of friendship!

Interests

I love going to live concerts and to watch movies in the cinema (especially open-air events). I'm also into culture (museums, street art) and dancing (especially to 90s music). :D Additionally I recently found my interest in outdoor activities like e.g. (alpine) hiking, mountain biking and other things where it's possible to combine doing physical activity, enjoying nature and exploring new areas.

And surely I'm more than passionate about traveling! For now I'm trying to see all the countries of Europe...quite a challenge already I need to admit. :) Further on I would like to visit Canada, Australia and New Zealand!

Only one?! Well, I'll try to cut it down to a bunch of favourite travel moments until now: Having a swim in the Arctic Ocean of Norway, seeing the Northern Lights in Finland, climbing my first mountain in Northern Italy, riding a horse across ancient lava fields in Iceland, surfing a white water wave for the first time in Portugal and crossing the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge in Northern Ireland!
