Overview
About Me
Hi, I am Gizem from Turkey. I study Political Science and International Relations at Bahcesehir Uni. This was just my favorite department.
I see world as a whole, and I am curious about other cultures, other people's lives and especially their languages. I am working on my German and also started to learn French online but I am only beginner and I dont even say "I am learning French". I like all languages and also I am interested in various areas close to Turkey such as The Balkans, Iran, Greece etc and languages spoken in those areas such as Hebrew, Arabic, Persian.. I am learning Farsi by myself, but for now I just memorize phrases.
Turkey is a real mix of people of different origins..we all were born in Turkey but indeed we have different ethnicities. This heritage should be valued and people should learn to be curious about 'others'. In Turkey itself, I bet, there are hundreds of different ethnicities or religious groups.. This is a gift.
I wish everyone have safe and enjoyable trips around the world.
Best wishes.
