About Me
CURRENT MISSION
As I grew up in the Middle-East, it's a social duty to show everyone what the middle-eastern hospitality is all about ;)
ABOUT ME
I was born to an Italian father and a Lebanese mother in Cyprus and I grew up in the Middle-East until I was 18. Been living in Lyon since 2007 and I love it!
I'd resume my description to the following two words : welcoming and international. That's how I feel and that's also what people often tell me (so it gotta be true :P)
PHILOSOPHY
Live a happy life and make sure that the people around me live happily too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting as many people from all around the world!
Hosted 50 CS in less than a month and a half!
I try doing my best to make all surfers feel at home :D
If I have spare time, I love showing around my city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
- Thanks to all the positive energy given by all the CS I hosted in Summer 2013, I finally decided to pursue a Euro-trip (mostly hitch-hiking) in September 2013.
My original goal was to hitch-hike all the way from Lyon to Oslo, but I ended up using a train from Malmo to Gothenburg and then a bus to Oslo.
- Running on a traffic-slowed down German highway to reach to a french-plate car in order to get a lift back to Lyon. It was so funny!
Interests
Languages, traveling, learning about foreign cultures, gastronomy (I looooove discovering local food, and I loooooooooooove eating!) and last but not least, Geo-politics.
Music, Movies, and Books
Everything! Or almost...
But my favourite music styles are Jazz, Blues, Funk and much more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Waking up before dawn in the Wadi Rum desert (Jordan) and looking at the sun rise. That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a host I always want surfers to feel home, to feel welcomed and well taken care of. As a surfer, I try to never bother my host, stay tidy and don't make too much noise. I think this is a general rule real CSers have naturally and there's no school for that :P
What I Can Share with Hosts
COOKING! If I have time, I can cook Italian or Lebanese dishes!
I love talking about my life experiences, but also about geo-politics, society, etc.
Oh and I'll definitely help with the cleaning up if I stay at least 2 nights :D
