Hey! I'm Sofia from Venezuela, a lovely and beloved country. Now living in New York City since three years ago.

I'm a freelance filmmaker, mainly writer, director and director of photography. I also love gaffing haha.
My hobbies include painting, playing the ukulele and traveling.

I live through dreams. One of them is to discover the world in which we all live in, learn about new cultures and people, laugh in different languages.
Fan of gastronomy of any kind, fan of music, arts and self expression.

I think my main passion besides film, would be music. Although the only instrument I kinda know how to play is the ukulele, I'm a big listener!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I backpacked Europe for two months when I was 16.

-I slept on the street once next to some homeless people in Trieste, Italy (Long story haha).

-The only book that have made me cry is IT by Stephen King. My ultimate favorite book.

-One time I danced so much that my left foot got paralyzed for three days lol.

-I don't know how to dance.
(I just move with "rhythm", but I wouldn't consider that dancing)

-I have a bad addiction to coffee. I even made a film about it.

-I always write down most of the dreams I have at night because they are very vivid.

-I got sunked into moving sand up in the mountains in Venezuela when I went camping.

-I like creating new theories of life every time I get the chance to sit down and think about it.

- One time I thought a Squirrel was trying to tell me something because it stared at me for too long.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer long conversations. I love learning from people as we talk. I could conversate about the weather as much as I can talk about existential theories of the universe itself. And everything in between.

I'm very laidback, I will follow every house rule there is and leave everything as clean as I found it.

I would love to cook some Venezuelan food for my hosts if I find the ingredients! :)
