About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm a Canadian student living in Denmark for a few months and trying to see as much of the world as I can. I love to travel, but I've only had the chance to see and experience parts of north and South America, but I'm about to change that ;). My favourite part about travelling is getting to know the locals and experiencing the city though new friends rather than a tourist book. I love eating, no need to try to convince me to try the local food, I'm more than happy to do so! I'm very open minded and respectful of other peoples values and opinions.

Interests

I love reading and my favourite books range all the way from my childhood love for Harry potter to more adult books like 1984 and too big to fail. When I'm home in Vancouver I often do hot yoga as a hobby and enjoy hiking all the trails that beautiful British Columbia has to offer. As a student, I have had to learn to cook for myself and I enjoy cooking but saying I'm an amazing cook would be an over statement. I'm also very interested in technology and have dedicated half of my degree to computer science (I'm a double major), so let me know if that's your thing too and we can geek it up :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm am originally South America but I've had the opportunity to move to canada and eventually to Vancouver on my own. I cannot explain how amazing it has been for my personal development to grow up in the mixture of values from a close loving Colombian family to an open minded and promising Canadian culture. A year ago, I had the opportunity to give back to my home town when I joined the ARC Initiative at my local university and travelled down to Colombia with my fellow students to give entrepreneurial classes to low income business men/women.
