Overview
About Me
I'm a student having a gap year, still trying to find my place on earth and doing it very intensively now:) When I don't have my camera with me I'm still taking pictures with my eyes for half of my time. It's my nature to observe, get the information, to read about and gain some new knowledge putting all the seen pictures together. I feel it's the time to explore now, so I travel, read books, listen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently had a great couch surfing experience this Summer when I was on the road with my friend. We were having a fantastic Eurotrip that lasted for more than a month. We had some great hosts in Marseille, Nimes, Paris. However, the arrangements were made on my friend's couch surfing profile. So, I am very new at this site.
The memories of all the beautiful landscapes, monuments and famous places just fade away after a while, but the memory of people you meet and the atmosphere they live in somehow stays. That's why I'm fascinated about this platform, allowing not only to see particular places, but to experience them in depth, getting a glimpse of the culture and different social habits, exploring cities from the insider's perspective and not feeling only as a lost tourist.
Interests
When I travel I always find some time to visit galleries - I'm very fond of art (classical, modern, contemporary), photography (I could spend hours in a photography book shop or sitting with my camera without noticing how much time passed). Books, music - we could definitely have a great discussion about it and exchange tones of new authors and bands. I've been a dancer since I was 6 - started with ballet for a decade, continued with contemporary and now dancing vintage Lindy Hop - it's the whole culture lying under this dance and when you start, the wide smile is just guaranteed.
