Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted and surfed few times.
I try to do my best and help people as much as I can, giving tips, showing them the city, hanging out, and when it's possible, hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started an "Eurotrip" with my best friend in summertime (July 2013), so we decided to try CS to make our trip unforgettable, not only looking for a place to stay but, meeting new people and learning from locals.

When I finnished my Eurotrip I received a lot of request from people who wanted to come to Barcelona, so I hosted some travellers few times, above all, people who were in emergency cases because they didn't find a couch as I know it's pretty difficult to find one in Barcelona. I can say that it's great to be the host and share with travellers so many stories and spend a good time with them.

I can say that CS is a very good experience, hosting or surfing, because you can meet new people from different countries and maybe you can find some good friends on your way...

Couchsurfing experience is undescribable and amazing!! A very good idea, and the best way to meet people from all over the world.

Interests

I love literature, photography, museums, cinema, nature... And above all, music. I love walking in the streets of Barcelona, full of live and art.
I spend my free time with my friends or my family. I try to travel as much as I can!
I also like to go to concerts, or go to a bar with a friend and drink something while we are talking, because I enjoy sharing my free time with the people I love, or at least, have a drink with someone while we are sharing our lives, points of view and stories.

I listen all kind of music, because there is a type of music for every moment. Some of the bands I love are RATM, Slipknot, Metallica, MM, Lamb Of God, Hatebreed, Gojira, RHCP, Muse, Édith Piaf, SOAD, The Beatles, Chico Buarque, Pennywise, Franz Ferdinand, Steve Aoki, The Hives, Meshuggah, Arctic Monkeys, Stevie Wonder (and some of the 80's music), Adele, Fettes Brot, Cypress Hill, Foo Fighters, Korn, Them Croocked Vultures, Audioslave, etc... (there are too many!!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to live fully, but I can say that one of the best things I've ever done is doing a hitch-hicking trip for a month all over Europe. It was really amazing and I met a lot of people, other hitch-hickers, and some became true friends. I learnt a lot, and, of course, I traveled on the road...enjoying the scenery!

Also: being in 3 countries at the same day!
