Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done much, besides staying with someone a friend contacted in New York a while ago (i've never found her on couchsurfing!), meet some couchsurfing people in Poitiers and attend some meetings. I'm a begginer, but really want to learn and meet some great people here.

Interests

Traveling, politics, history, literature, art, photography, theater, running, latin and contemporary dance.

Music, Movies, and Books

A Woody Allen fan, i'm not a cinema geek, but i like good movies and it's hard for me to waste my time with a bad one. The purple rose of cairo is by far my favorite. Breakfast at tiffany's and Grease are in second and third place.
Have to admit i'm quite mainstream when it comes to music, i'm probably listening anything that's on the radio or on a musical.
I really used to read a lot and then i got into college , where reading is not a choice, have to admit that has changed things. Right now i like to read sociology books and books about art and it's relation with politics and society.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a couple of good stories. When i left high school i left school for a year to be a volunteer in a shelter for emigrants in Mexico. I know is the nerdy type but that experience gave me lots of amazing stories and memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

First of all, i am mexican so i can make u real tacos and real mexican breakfasts ;) (beat that). I can teach spanish and a little bit of a indigenous mexican dialect if you are feeling "alternative". I am also a decent cooker (still a beginner, to be fair) and would feel glad to cook for you if you let me use your kitchen or stay with me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Mexico
