Overview
About Me
Love meeting people - locals(!) - to get a real insight in life in (anywhere). I enjoy learning about local history, food, drinks, customs (anything).
I am studying to become a teacher in the Netherlands. Worked as an English teacher in Beijing. And I teach about the Second World War as a freelance teacher. My 'regular' job is event/festifal manager.
In my free time I enjoy getting together with friends, play board games, photography, reading, going out, travel. This past year I traveled with my girlfriend to Morocco (Marrakesh and Fes) and Poland (Warsaw and Krakau).
The upcoming trip is a roadtrip with one of my best friends to a friend in Montpellier, France. We hope to visit Caen, Bordeaux (or ..?), Montpellier, Barcelona, Monaco, Turino and Bern. And visit lots of smaller places in between! Suggestions are always appreciated!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I explored an almost abandoned part the Great Wall with my girlfriend. Amazing! And the wall was amazing too.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ideas are bulletproof. Chaos is not a pit, it is a ladder. Governments should be ruled by morality rather than economics. People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people.
