About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Teaching the art of rhetorics and debating in German and English language to Central-& Eastern-European high school students.
ABOUT ME
I was born in the North-East of Germany but living my whole life in the area of Berlin. I got my bachelors degree as a corporate student in "International Business Administration" while being an employee at IBM. Two years ago, I graduated from Leipzig Graduate School of Management with my masters degree and a semester abroad at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). Now I am working as Finance Manager for Rosneft Aviation ensuring the supply of German airport with jet fuel.
But besides my demanding work I just try to get to know the world, the people, their cultures and their languages. So thats why I am here :)
PHILOSOPHY
I try to confuse my German character, that always wants to plan every little step by having spontanoues ideas and travel actions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I began with Couchsurfing in summer 2013 going to the CS-Events as the weekly meetings to hang-out with the locals in Berlin and Bratislava. Afterwards I made my own Couchsurfing trips throughout the Baltics and to Liechtenstein. Now I mostly focus on showing guests my beloved Berlin.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I meet only good and honest people holding so many talks about languages and shared hobbies as archery and debating.
Interests
My free time I spent on cycling and volleyball to keep myself fit. Furthermore I havd my little life projects like as a debating and rhetoric trainer for high schools students for now ten years. Over the time I educated young students in Poland, Czech Rep. and finally became national trainer for debating in Russia & Ukraine in 2015. A year ago I joined a new project called Demoslam, which is seeking to foster the exchange between european youth through meetings and joint presentations in a format that you may know from Science Slams or Poetry Slams.
