Hi there, I'm Marie from France, looking for surprises and kind people on my way to the world.

My curriculum vitae may seem a little bit unusual, I must admit it. Just to sum up, I took a gap year at the age of 17 to study English in London. Then, I moved from my home town Grenoble to Lyon for my studies, and I am missing the mountains very much since. I stayed in medical university for 4 years, having the chance to experience the Erasmus life in Lodz, Poland, last year. 2017 has been the year of great questions and big changes. 4 years ago, I started to learn completely different skills. Let's mention it right away, I've always dreamt to open a coffee shop with French pastries abroad, and I've decided to drop the medical world for French gastronomy. Since then, I've been enjoying my life so much, creating ethical desserts in restaurant and leaving in a sweet sweet world.

Otherwise I am a free spirit, eager to travel, discover traditions, meet people and share stories. I know a great deal about European countries but I haven't been farther yet. My interests include languages, sport, art, food, making friends, motorcycle, learning new skills, travelling...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always thought that books offer you a great deal of knowledge but never as much as people experiences... I love to meet human beings from all over the world, discuss about their customs, share a visit / a walk / a dish... I believe discovering a city with the eyes of locals is priceless and I admire the way CS brings people who should never meet, together.
So far I had numerous fantastic experiences from CS, hosting and being hosted and I wish to continue this king of travelling as long as I can.

I'm in a rock mood these days but I also love electro, classical, RnB, rap, well almost everything. :D

.Having been in the neurosurgery theater and having seen the internal carotid beats in the skull of a patient.

.Changing my life, passing by medicine to end up in gastronomy studies.
