Soy Giovanni, un estudiante de Ingeniería Civil nativo de Valparaíso, Chile. Tengo 20 años y estoy ansioso por conocer este hermoso continente América, y, por qué no, el resto del mundo. Actualmente vivo con mis padres, pero en dos meses haré un cambio radical en mi vida para conocer las culturas que me rodean, principalmente por medio de voluntariados y las relaciones que se den con mis anfitriones.

I'm Giovanni , a student of Civil Engineering native of Valparaiso, Chile. I'm 20 years old and I'm anxious to know this beautiful continent America, and why not , the rest of the world. I currently live with my parents, but in two months will make a radical change in my life to learn about cultures around me , mainly through volunteer and give the relationships with my hosts .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Porque a fines de Enero me iré a conocer latinoamerica por primera vez, y pretendo usar Couchsurfing como una herramienta para poder adentrarme y conocer de manera mucho más cercana cada cultura y forma de vivir de cada país. Si bien lo ideal es encontrar anfitriones, estaría agradecido de igual forma si alguien no puede alojarme, pero sí quedar conmigo para mostrarme la ciudad, su gente, su comida típica y sus lugares turísticos (museos, parques nacionales, etc).

Because at the end of January I will go to Latin America for the first time meet , Couchsurfing and I intend to use as a tool to delve and know much more closely every culture and lifestyle of each country . Mis fuertes son la cocina chilena y (no sé si sirva de mucho) las matématicas. Podría enseñarle a mi anfitrión las principales comidas típicas de mi país, ya que me gusta cocinar, y por lo que dicen, lo hago rico jajajaj.. Los conocimientos que tengo en matemáticas me gustaría aplicarlos en algún voluntariado en alguna escuela o algo parecido. Si bien esa es mi 'meta', estaría igualmente contento de realizar cualquier otro tipo de voluntariado, ya que como dijo Eduardo Galeano: "Mucha gente pequeña, en lugares pequeños, haciendo cosas pequeñas, pueden cambiar el mundo".

My strengths are the Chilean kitchen (not sure if gain much ) mathematics. I could show my host typical meals of my country , as I like to cook, and so they say , I do rich jajajaj .. The knowledge that I have in mathematics I would apply to any volunteer in a school or something. While this is my ' goal ' , I would be equally happy to perform any type of volunteering , as Eduardo Galeano said : " Many small people , in small places , doing small things can change the world" .

What I Can Share with Hosts

Me considero una persona con bastante tema de conversación y muy curiosa, por lo que les aseguro que conmigo no se aburrirán, ya que constantemente estarán aprendiendo sobre cómo son las cosas en mi país natal, como igualmente espero que uds. me muestren cómo las son en el suyo. Junto con esto, (como mencioné en un punto anterior), me gusta la cocina, por lo que podría cocinarles comidas típicas de Chile, mi país natal. Y bueno, además de cosas básicas como ayudar en la casa y mantener el orden. Mi idea es paradójicamente pasar desapercibido, pero a la vez hacer notar mi presencia :)

I consider myself a person with quite a topic of conversation and very curious , so I assure you will not get bored with me because they are constantly learning about how things are in my homeland and I hope you also . show me how are yours. Along with this, ( as I mentioned in a previous section ), I like the kitchen , so I could cook you typical food of Chile, my homeland. Well , in addition to basic things like helping around the house and maintain order . My idea is paradoxically unnoticed , yet do notice me :)
