Overview
About Me
I am an easy going and talkative person who enjoys making new friends.
Right now I'm on an exchange in Finland and I'm trying to learn more about the culture and language, so I think Couchsurfing could be quite helpful with that.
I'm passionate about getting in touch with different cultures, which is basically what a social scientist does after all :p I also love animals and could talk about them all day long! hahaha =P
I enjoy sitting to have a beer, tea or black coffee just to talk about life and share stories with others.
I'm vegan and I love to cook and I love supermarkets, so I'm always thinking about food and new dishes that I can try.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is nice way to
- Meet people from different cultures
- Improve my global knowledge
- To go much beyond the touristic point of view of a place
- to learn a bit the language
While in the Netherlands I surfed with a friend in Amsterdam and it was so cool! It was the first and only time but I really enjoyed. You can read the reference on his profile, it's Rodrigo Hosken
his name :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy brazilian music, pop, rock... I'm actually very open to all sorts of music.
When it comes to movies I'm more into drama and documentaries type, and maybe a little comedy.
I just LOVE 'Harry Potter' books and 'A Song of Ice and Fire'; I find it truly amazing :p
I also enjoy watching tv shows, such as Game of Thrones, VEEP, Insecure, The Handmaid's Tale, etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I paid to go bungee jumping and when I was at the plataform to do it I froze and I couldn't jump. Besides the pain and the humiliation of losing 60 dollars and going down using the stairs, it was a teachable moment: I realised I was actually terrified of hight.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach a little portuguese, or recipes of brazilian dishes. I could teach as well how to be amazing on just dance games! hahaha =P although I'm not a good dancer, I enjoy doing it (especially Shakira!) I could teach a little about social sciences, or brazilian history.
I'd learn anything you wanna teach, I'm quite open to new experiences :D I'm interested on learning new languages, or history. (Specially Finnish!) I also would like to know more about your cuisine, or anything that you enjoy doing, really.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Nice talks, I can cook dinner, I can show brazilian songs, talk about my culture and language, I can be a nice company for going out places.
