ABOUT ME

I'm a very open person who loves to get to know new people and there other culture.

Back home I studied geography and worked for some time in restaurants and bars. Than I started a training to conneced myselfe more to nature and to become a natural educator/pedagogy. I worked as an education referent for nature in an institution of envionment. We had several workshop and clases to educate children and young people about the nature and how to take care of it. It was important for me that the children learn to be aware of the nature. I have many games and methodes to teach children about the animals and their habitats.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is not only a really good possibility to have a place to sleep but also perfect to get to know and live with people from other counties :) you always get to know the place better with an local.

Interests

In my free time I love to go out with friends or just meet them. Also I like to travel through the world!

I love to be in rural places and in the nature:
I like to do all kind of activity that I can feel in my body (hiking, climbing or snowboarding) or just wandering around. Also I love to be in silence in the nature or do some workshops about how to treat and survive in the nature (building a place to sleep, learn to make fire and cook above it). To play with young people in the nature makes me really happy.

I like gardening and observing how new plants are growing. I like to grow and have my own vegetables and fruits. Because the idea of sustainability is important to me.

I love to make thinks with hands. Especially to tinker with natural products (wood, leefs, seed or other beautiful material) makes me happy. I also like upcycling. This means that you use old things and make something new out of it. There are many things you don't need to throw away, you always can make something new out of it. Especially with plastic products you can upcycle a lot of nice things.

I am interested in natural medicine

Music means for me a lot. I always need music :) I like to listen or to make music. I played the flute for many years. I like the rythm of drums.
I like to draw (my favorites are mandalas), to decorate or to create and build something new.

Since 3 years I am practicing all different tipe of yoga. It became a really important part of my life.

I like to cook and food preparation in general (from fermentation to baking). I am not strictly vegetarian, but I try to eat little meat.
