About Me

Estoy ahora en Ibiza para aprender espanol y disfrutar la isla bonita tambien naturalmente !

Always hard to describe oneself... I'm supposed to be an ENFP (according to the relatively wide-spread 16Personnalities Test).

I am enthusiastic about anything I learn and I am active and socialize easily with most people. But this is rather inner enthusiasm as I am actually very calm, outwardly.

I graduated in Germany at the University of Cologne and in France at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in German Law in 2014 and French Law in 2016, but what I truely love is teaching.
I have been working as a half-time kindergarten teacher for almost three years in Germany and then France. Prior to that I taught French as a foreign language in Cologne and then German as a foreign language to Roma refugees from Ex-Yougoslavian countries.
I founded and ran an NGO that hosts almost 100 refugees in Paris within French families in Paris and the suburbs for free.
I'm starting a world tour of alternative primary schools in September while writing a Master Degree in Educationnal Sciences.

Love meditating and alternative/underground lifestyles!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been using co-driving (Blablacar, Mitfahrgelegenheit) or hitch-hiking a lot and I loved meeting people I wouldn' have met otherwise. It's crazy how the journey was then even more interesting than the final destination!
I stayed with CS hosts in Lyon, Grenoble, Toulouse, Freiburg, London and Zurich

Interests

nature, camping, hiking, reading, going out with friends, doing sport (tennis, cycling, badminton, running, swimming), music (mostly turbo-folk, arabian pop, pop, trance and house..), politics and history, education policicies and teaching, learning languages. Meditation.

My favourite singers include Ceca Raznatovic, Seka Aleksic, Maya Berovic (for Turbo-folk), Björk (the only real musicians among all these, I acknowledge) and Nancy Ajram.
Favourite novelists: Ahmadou Kourouma, Bernard Werber, George Orwell, Klaus Mann, Toni Morrison, Boris Vian, John Steinbeck, Maya Angelou, Hermann Hesse, Rohinton Mistry
Favourite movie directors: Tim Burton, Emir Kusturica, Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings of course!), Stanley Kubrick, Ayaho Miyazaki and François Ozon

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I founded an NGO at 21, which had after a year of existence over 300 volunteers and provided 90 refugees in Paris with a shelter within a French family. It doesn't sound very crazy but it wasn't easy and not many people try it so well...
