PHILOSOPHY
L'enfer c'est les autres...I love Sartre and this quote means a lot to me. You should always be aware of your current situation and never afraid of escaping if you've got the feeling that something is holding you back. I'm not trying to say by this that u should love a really individual life and escape as soon is something is bothering you. But if you really suffer from something you shouldn't be afraid of it. It's important to know how to deal with your own freedom.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well speaking of stories...there was one really memorable night in London. I was there with one of my best friends. One night we were out with somebody we knew who was working in London back then. The club was by far the best club I've ever been to (unfortunately it's closed now). It was called shunt. A place that was designed by artist and they changed the whole interior for every party. You could never expect what was happening in the next room. It was really exciting. Anyway we got in contact with somebody there who told us when the party was over that we could stay at her place. We became friends and are still in contact.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Wes Anderson is one of my favorite directors. I just love his style, his artwork and the colors and characters he uses. Another movie that really moved me lately was "Broken circle" a belgian film.
Music: The first genre I gained access to was Hip Hop when I was young and I still love the whole culture even if the superficiality of certain artists is bothering me.
Today though I'm listening to lots of different styles of music: electronic music, rock, classic, jazz,...as long as I'm feeling it, it can be everything.
Well and books...I don't even know where to start. I've really got some problems at times naming my favorite authors because there are pretty often some new names popping up in the list. But there are some names that appear constantly. Dostojewski, Kundera, Marquez, Max Frisch, Sartre, Irvin D. Yalom, Juli Zeh to begin with,...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There is one situation that comes to my mind. I was working for two months in an hospital in Cape Town, not only as a medical student but I also worked for an organisation that was trying to prevent accidents of children. It was called child safe. There was one africain woman who was working there for quite sometime and she's never been out of South Africa. She then got the offer to represent child safe South Africa on the annual international congress in London. But she was very afraid of leaving the country since she thought that London was full of criminals and that she would get lost, etc. A friend of mine and me told her about London and tried to convince her to go there. She actually went there and when she came back she already asked her boss if she could go to the next congress.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I can teach you about medicine. But I don't know if you really want that :-). No I guess I'm quite a good person to have a conversation with because I'm honestly interested in the other person but if you want to hear something from me I'm open to tell you everything you want to hear about me.
