ABOUT ME

A gentleman.

I'm a man who can get along with different types of people, I like to have friends who do different things, I think diversity gives you perspective. I'm not afraid to speak my mind and if I feel that something needs to be said, I say it. On the contrast, I also respect other peoples views and always try to understand where someone else is coming from and what their views are.

Some people have said that I am shy, but I think it's just my finnish roots haha. I can seem sometimes a bit shy when meeting people, but I myself think that I am quite outgoing and I like a joke anytime!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think couchsurfing is an awesome way to travel. It gives you a whole other perspective to the city/country you are traveling in when you share it with someone local. I think the motto is, when hosting someone at your home: "Host people the way you would like to be hosted".

兴趣

Music is my biggest passion in life. I like all different kinds of music, from stoner rock to r'n'b.

I also love football, for me it is the greatest sport in the world, but I also like so study it as a phenomenon of the world. I like to watch and of course play anywhere I can.

Other interests include movies, nature (on and outside of earth, as in space), science, history and video games. I think video games are an underrated art form.

I like pretty much all kinds of music, I listen to a lot of hip hop and indie, but I also like heavier stuff and pop/soul/funk.

My favorite movie has to be Thin Red Line, the Big Lebowski is also worth a mention. My favorite tv show is The Wire, I think it is the greatest tv show ever. True Detective and Game of Thrones are also fantastic. I also like a lot of brit-comedy.

I can't really say what my favorite book is, but some of my favorites are the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, 1984 and The Old Man and the Sea. I enjoy David Foster Wallace's work.

I can teach basic guitar and singing too, and I'm always interested in learning about new things in life! I want to learn to surf (at least being able to stand on the board haha) and would love to learn to play the piano. Also I want to become fluent in portuguese and spanish.
