About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Solving the puzzle that is life, one piece at a time.

ABOUT ME

vegetarian gadget enthusiast who enjoys cycling, traveling, good reads and

Writing profile descriptions is not my forte, so I will keep it short.

I'm from Slovenia, a small country in Europe, just south of Austria. Although small, Slovenia is known for incredibly diverse landscapes. But you probably already knew that, considering you have stumbled upon my profile.

I live to travel. To escape the boring day-to-day life, the numbness. To seek new experiences, adventures, people! My dearest memories are from my journeys, meeting amazing and inspiring people around the globe! If I had to choose one place I would visit again without a hitch, it would be India. So diverse and completely different from our lifestyle, just... amazing!

I've been a vegetarian for 6 years now. I like to keep my eating habits to myself, without making others uncomfortable for no reason. But I have no problem discussing it, when asked about.

Having finished high school, I am looking forward to pursue a degree in English and sociology in Ljubljana and hopefully study abroad for a semester or two.

I love talking to everyone that deals with art, be it drawing, architecture, music or any of that sort, since I'm completely useless when it comes to anything artsy-craftsy and am just amazed and honoured to talk to people like them!

PHILOSOPHY

Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted students from Germany, India, Hungary and Slovenia during student exchanges, and have also lived with local families during MUNs in Germany and during an exchange in India, but it was all outside of the Couchsurfing network, so I have nothing but pictures, FB contacts and great memories to prove it :)

Interests

Learning useless talents. Juggling, solving the Rubik's cube, card flourishes, you name it! The wackier, the better!

Keep in mind I might try throwing random round-ish objects in the air and juggle with them, so be aware and hide anything you wouldn't want to have broken. :)

Also cycling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
I enjoy reading books, but I admit I've become a tad lazy and haven't read in a while. Nonetheless, you can check some of the books I've read on Goodreads: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/14935799?shelf=read

Music:
I like jazz and blues the most, but I am not picky and will listen to most genres without a problem, as long as it is not heavy metal.

TV:
Series: Game of Thrones, Dexter, Skins UK, Suits, Shameless US, Hart of Dixie

Films: Jagten, Rain Man, Shutter Island, Inception, Holy Motors, Intouchables and many others
