Overview
About Me
I am Kim, 24, and finally back in Germany from studying in the Netherlands. My biggest passions are travelling, music & concerts, but I also love football, icehockey, muggle quidditch (and almost any other sport), cooking, eating and reading. I want to see as much of the world as possible and experience new cultures, try new food and meet new people. Furthermore, I would love to own a van and travel the world with it, and I want to call a little private library my own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I want to see the whole world, experience new cultures, meet new people who can tell me everything about their country - and because I am a poor student.
Interests
I play (Muggle) Quidditch. Yes, you read correctly. You should give ita try. It's a combination of rugby, handball and dodgeball. Moreover, it's the most tolerant, integrating and awesome sport ever and the community is wonderful. So much quove. <3

Music, Movies, and Books
I think this is a topic one should rather talk about, but to just give a first impression:
I like a lot of different music genres, from classical music over Disney songs to metal, but I am most fond of German punkrock - especially my favourite band ever, die ärzte. (One of the members, Farin Urlaub, is my role model.) At parties, I love 80s & 90s music the most.
Regarding films, I do not really care. I am open to almost everything. If you want me to recite a film almost completely, however, then go for a Harry Potter film.
Books. I love books, but I do not have enough time to read as much as I'd like to. I read almost everything that falls into my hands, but recently I rediscovered my love for psychological thrillers and travel literature. However, the books that certainly had and still have the biggest impact on me are the Harry Potter books - I am a big Potterhead.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done a couple of amazing and exciting things, at least from my point of view, but there are some I am particularly fond of. The first thing that came to my mind: I've done skydiving. It was super awesome, although I would not recommend it in the middle of summer. The temperature change from 4°C to 30°C+ sickened me a bit.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not sure if I am particularly good at anything, but I would do my best to share some of my language skills (esp. German) or help you in any way possible. Additionally, I could cook something, but I'd much rather cook together and learn new (local) recipes.
I love to crowdsurf when I am at a (rock/punk) concert and I will probably never stop loving it. So if we ever go to a concert together, I could share my knowledge about it with you. You should give it a try, it's worth it!
I definitely cannot sing, but I used to play the guitar for some years (some years ago...). So if you give me some chords or instructions, you will maybe have the pleasure to see me fail.
I can repair some stuff (especially using YouTube videos), but I am not a craftswoman. So don't expect it to be perfect or to work 100% - I'll do my best, though.
Well, and finally I can teach you how to play muggle quidditch.
