ABOUT ME

I am interested in genetics and economics and right now my lifetime aspiration is to connect these two passions. Sometimes I tend to choose one over the other but never abandon neither.

At the same time I have an interest in educating myself intellectually and spiritually and I always enjoy an inspiring discussion that teaches me something. Even if it shows me only a tiny bit of a new perspective, I appreciate it a lot.

I am quite open-minded but after an interesting and "out-of-this-world" discussion I often find myself critically analyzing my newly obtained knowledge and searching for suitable sources that it could be based on. Therefore, I really like scientific articles because these prove statements with series of experiments rather than throwing random words into the air.

PHILOSOPHY

Living is learning. All positive change is the end result of learning.If you aren’t learning, you’re simply dying slowly.

I don't have any experience yet but since I'm going on my first backpacking trip I hope to change that and meet new and friendly people on the way :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite writers are currently Boriss Akunin and Fjodor Dostojevski.
I love European cinema, recently I have discovered some good German movies (for example "Das Boot", "The lives of others").
Choice of music depends on the particular moment. While running I like to listen to electronic, fast and hectic music (Igorrr, Infected Mushrooms), while reading or studying I enjoy slow music with good melody (Gotye, Yann Tiersen, Soley).
