About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Figure out the World.
ABOUT ME
Where the sun is going after it sets? How the color of things is determined? Why people around the world have different cultures? These are the types of questions I was asking my mother when I was little, now I know the answer to them but I have many more questions! It drives me forward to understand different cultures and pursue my career options.
I always dreamed to work for NASA, it was a dream until I got accepted into Caltech, where I have just started a PhD in Aerospace Engineering.
PHILOSOPHY
Behave as you want the others to behave. Do your best as whatever you are doing: sleeping, working, partying or eating.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started with a friend with a couchsurfing in Japan, three nights in Kansai, two in Kyoto and one in Osaka. I loved that experience so much and I stayed one week traveling around Japan with courchsufing at the end of that summer.
After that first experience, I didn't couchsurf until I came to US, where I stayed in Denver and in Chicago several days. Most of my trips have been with my girlfriend or in big groups but I use couchsurfing when travelling alone or with only one friend.
Interests
Traveling, rock climbing, reading. Depends of the day I do more of one or the other.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like reading and one my best books are 1984 and Hyperion. I use to read in my spare time like in the bus or the train, and, when engaged, I cannot stop until I finish the book!
I like to watch movies but I have to say that lately I can only watch movies on the plane when traveling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Discovering the Parthenon from the hand of one friend who was working there. She came with the blueprints of the building and explained us everything.
Being the recipient of the La Caixa fellowship, which involved between others a meeting wonderful people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Spanish recipes, computer related stuff
What I Can Share with Hosts
Besides what I can teach and talk about personal experiences, I use to bring a small detail for the host. I used to call it a good experience when they say it is sad I could not stay longer :)
