About Me

Hi,
I live in Ankara with my family, and currently (I will resolve this issue nearly in 2 months and update this paragraph) cannot accept hosts unfortunately. However I would love if I could :) . And, I love to meet foreign people who travels to Ankara of Turkey. I am an Electrical-Electronics Engineer but work as a software engineer in one of the leading research companies of Turkey. I am currently a Phd Candidate in Computer Engineering. Actually, I am in love with computers and algorithms, so I am in love with my work and study. Through my life (actually until College) I was a lazy student, and I can never describe myself as a nerd student. I am a failure in tasks that I do not like to work on. But I got lucky, and my interest area became my job.

I think I am a social guy, and I worth spending time together. There are two types of people here in Turkey, who thinks my jokes are terible, and who has not met me yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people. Nothing more, nothing less.

Interests

I am interested in music, and I tried to play classical guitar. Then I realized that I need to study 27 days to play a song correctly, so I decided to convert to keyboard (or organ, in English I am not quite sure). I get better day by day, because I already have a keyboard practical skill at hand (because of my job).

I was a skilled chess player until 5 years ago, I have a degree around Ankara (I was achieved a degree of 42th best chess player of Ankara in one of tournements I attended) I try to develop games for pc for 10 years but couldn't manage to end one :).

I sometimes swim in pool or cycle in nature for fitness.

I read mangas, and watch animes. I am biased that Japanese people are amazing without much knowledge.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
Red Hot Chili Peppers,
Linkin Park,
Pink Floyd(some)

Actully I love many music I listen to in radio, that I don't even know the names of groups.

Books: Improbable Adam Fawer and all books of Dan Brown except Inferno (I couldn't read it yet).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I performed stand-ups with a stand up group in different bars for 12 weeks.
I retired :) when I realized people started to laugh less.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am NOT so much interested in history or some antique structures of wherever I am travelling. Actually, I enjoy to, but I prefer to learn what people do TODAY in that culture.

I can teach chess ( kidding :) I will see what can I teach. When someone visits Ankara, where I am currently living, he / she leaves here with vast amount of information about both Ankara and Turkey. I live here for 29 years. But I will also see what can I teach further.

I can share many things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Actually I cannot currenty host any one for one-two months (I am working on it) but I can meet and guide people in where I am living.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Switzerland
