About Me
I have always felt lazy to complete this part because I think it's better not judging people for what they're writing about themselves. I would rather say, go ahead and read people's feedback to get more insight about the way they felt about me :)
But in a few words, I had the chance to study in 5 different countries as part of my studies (USA for 4 months, Spain 4 months, Argentina 6 months, Sri Lanka 6 months, Thailand 7 months, Indonesia 4month). I first studied english and spanish languages and then I studied a Master degreee in Human Rights. It was probably one of the most amazing experience in terms of human exchanges (27 students from 24 different countries). Once I graduated, I started to work as a cultural event organizer for an NGO both in France and Indonesia. Once I completed this 1 year mission, I decided to go back to Indonesia for the 3rd time because I'm feeling deeply connected to this country. After that, I went to Australia with a working holiday visa where I stayed for over a year and half because / thanks to Covid. There, I worked as a barista until I set up my own Cold Brew business. I came back to France in 2021, and since then, I'm building up my little business. But that's a story that deserves us to drink coffee around ! You can check my business profile on Instagram: anaiscoldbrew !
Anyways, coffee for me is an universal language that I'm using to gather people and honour my studies in Human Rights. I wish to contribute in promoting peace, love, tolerance.. Obviously, it sounds unrealistic when looking at the current political situation...but making one person smile and bringing some happiness in one's life is already a reward to me. Smiling is your weapon and positivity your state of mind. As a matter of fact, I found that artists have the capacities to denounce some situation through art, performances, culture,.. and the message is strong.
I would say I'm definitely an optimistic woman. I can be serious when needed but I love laughing and experiencing new things. I will always be up to do something new and open my mind to whatever you could suggest me.
I am a very easy going person, and traveling has been my best teachers. I love to constantly requestion the way I perceive life and that's why couch surfing is a muat for me when I travel. I feel that's the only authentic way to deeply connect with the culture and understand better the philosophy of life of its people.
My credo: everything happens for a reason 🙏🏼
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I studied in America as an exchange student in 2013 and wanted to visit as much as I could. I tried couch surfing with a friend because at first, I have to confess I was afraid to be alone. And I just loved it ! I met awesome people and I still keep in touch with them. It allowed me to meet people from everywhere, sharing with them my experiences and learn more about their ones. Now, after all the travels I've done, I realize that Couchsurfing is like a universal big family. We all share the same interest in travelling and opening our minds to other cultures and lifestyles.
One thing I really like about Couchsurfing is when people have actually time to make you visit their cities because you'll discover the best places without getting lost ! That's a HUGE point when you're bad in direction haha
Interests
I love life and what it means to be truly and simply alive.
Traveling to me is not doing a check llist about all the touristic attractions we must see, but more about taking time to get myself lost somewhere where the crowd won't go, get a coffee and talk about life.
I can be very chilled and talk about spirituality for hours as much as I can be very grounded and go for a 2 days hike. Any ways, as much as there is good compagny, good good, good coffee and good view, I'm the hapiesyt person. I feel way more at ease in nature with few people, than in a city overwhelmed by people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am more into documentaries and real-based stories because I find it inspiring. The documentary "HUMAN" from Yann Arthus Bertrand really moved me. Although I haven't studied anthropology or ethnologie, I really like questioning the power of culture in the way we think and perceive life. And this movie is a good insight to open our consciousnesses and question our philosophy of life.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life itself is an incredible adventure and I'm so grateful for all the experiences that have allowed me to question myself and be the person I am today.
If I have to mention one experience that had been a turning point in my life I'd say my Master Degree in Human rights in Thailand in 2017. It was 27 of us, from 20 different countries. I have learned so much from this incredible Human beings. My definition of Humanity keep on expanding since then 🙌🏻
