ABOUT ME

Hello there, thanks for stumbling across my profile :). My name is Ha-Katka-Kate, you choose which one you like the best, I'm used to all the names.

I have Vietnamese roots, but was born and raised in the Czech Republic and I live in Prague with my lovely family. Still in my student years, working part-time job now and then and with the little amount of money I earn, I put all in traveling. Worth every coin.

At first I might seem shy but I'm just being polite. Once I get comfortable, I can be really talkative and easy-going person. Sarcastic at times, but I try to keep it low in front of new people.I enjoy learning new things and I'm always trying to put all I can in what I'm doing.

I want to learn from everyone and make myself a better person. Learn from people who also have to get along with life.

PHILOSOPHY

Believe! Because that's what keeps you going when everything else fails.

The most important value for me is my family. They are my inspiration and motivation for almost everything I am doing. If you cherish your closest people in your life then we will get well with each other.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I show fellow CS travelers around my city and sometimes I surf.
I hope to be able to host in the near future. It's hard for me to host now, because I don't have an independent place yet, but I can make it work if I possible. Maybe one day I will welcome world in my home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in the summer and met really awesome inspiring people I'm in contact with till today.

Couchsurfing is something I had never have bad experience with, sure there are people using CS different way than it should be, but I believe in CS spirit and I hope it will keep the way it began. I enjoy the genuine people here and hope to be able to meet more as I go!

兴趣

Hanging out with friends, , reading, running, being creative, music (learning to play ukulele time from time), walks.

Food! I enjoy all the tastes of world, it makes me excited when I can get to try new one :)

World and traveling - from experience, the hospitality of people and unpredictable flow of travels taught me a lot. What I love about meeting new people from all around the world is listening to their stories and get to know different way of living. It inspires me in my life.

Disney movies and Jackie Chan's movies, childhood favorites.

Not picky about the music genre, whatever sounds nice, but mainly Indie, Pop etc...

I have more than one, because there were several things that I still cherish and love to think back to.

Vietnam - my home-country. Everything there is amazing!

Eurotrip, Summer 2014 - with trains across the boards of Europe. Amazing experience that changed my view to many things!

I don't think I've some special skills that I can teach you. Maybe language or culture? If you want to learn some Czech or Vietnamese...or get to know a little bit about these countries that are part of me then sure, let's start a conversation!

I am opened to learn anything, there are many things I can't do, not to be greedy but know how to do everything would be pretty awesome :).
