Hello, my name is Anna and I am from the beautiful Brno in the Czech Republic. I am 22 and I am in the last year of my degrees in International Relations and Russian. In six months I will begin my first world tour, starting in Turkey and ending wherever the hell I fancy.

At the minute I'm in Jordan, the country of Petra and Wadi Rum, then i'm off to Sri Lanka. And after that I'll tour Europe in style. I've already been to most European countries but there is always something new to find, wherever you go.

After my I ace my degree, we fly to Istanbul and head east through the Caucasus and the steppes, up to the tundra and down to the jungle. We'll be setting up a YouTube channel and blog soon if you'd like to meet us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're travelling to see the world, meet new friends and understand how people live. We want to broaden our horizons. This means hotels are out, and couchsurfing is in. Day to day life, and not coach tours.

Interests

My dream has always been to travel the travel the world. Anytime I have blown out my candles, or had a loose eyelash this is what I have wished for. Most of what I do is around this - my degrees in International Relations and Russian, learning English, Arabic and Japanese, and finding new vegetarian foods to try.

I love dogs and will make friends with any cute little puppy, schnauzer or poodle I can find. I have four chihuahuas of my own, and I miss them dearly when I am away. So if you have animals it's not a problem.

Music, Movies, and Books

What more can I say than I love Jack Kerouac and James Bay. I have a Kerouac quote tattooed on my side because he inspires me with his love of adventure. I will travel the On The Road route when we eventually make to America. Whenever I hear James Bay sing I am filled with delight.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is dogsledding in Yakutsk in -52 degrees. There will be many more amazing things in the future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught English in Russia, and could teach Russian and Czech. I can cook wonderful Czech food and would be happy to teach you too. I love to sing Czech and Russian songs and tell fairytales.

I would love to learn all about how you live, wherever you are, what your customs are and what you eat. I want to experience your life, so please don't change anything just because we are your guests.
