About Me

Hi! I am Andy Núñez from Mexico City. I am a sincerely and sociable person.

I am 24 years old and right now I am living with one of my best friends and a friend in a little department in Mexico City. We have all nearly by, from supermarkets to movies, theater, downtown and more.

I enjoy travelling all around my country; we have wonderful cities and places to visit. So I can give you some tips about them. My dream is to know every single town and city of my country. Someday, somehow…

Some extra information about me, I love to do theater, I enjoy to play volleyball with my friends and take walks with my little baby dog. I have a wonderful family and an incredible boyfriend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I love to know people from all over the world. I have a few relatives far away from me, so I really know the importance of distance and to know people in specific places.

Right now I am planning a small trip to Europe. I’m going to do a little journey because my best friend is going to get married. So, I’m going to specific places like Hamburg, Prague, Brussels, etc.

So I want to found some friends to stay with and to enjoy some time together and knowing the town.

Interests

My family, my boyfriend, my pet and my job.

Music, Movies, and Books

About music I love alternative music not sooooo alternative but alternative cool. My favorite artists are The XX, First Aid Kit, Grimes, Haim, MGMT, Bastille, BOY, Broken Bells and Duffy.

I love art movies, those which really don’t understand at all but those which teach you a lot of culture, people, arts and weird stuff.

And about books, what can I say? I love Haruki Murakami. I don’t read a lot from other authors but from Haruki I want to read all of them. My favorite books of him are “Tokyo Blues”, “Dance, dance, dance”, “After dark”, “Sputnik My Sweartheart” and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one amazing thing I am doing is to sponsor a cute little boy from Tabasco, Mexico for 2 years now.

I am giving him some support in his life. I’m looking after his school education, health and dental care. He sends me some pictures about him and his family and on the future years I want to know him in person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some words on a Mexican dialect Mixteco like hello, good bye and some food names. I can teach you some tricks of volleyball and also I can teach you some theater exercises.

I want to learn about traditional foods in the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all, I can share my knowledge of my city. I love my enormous city with all its chaos.

So I can share small trips to know every single part of it, from downtown to museums, from small and pretty restaurants to markets, from zoo to parks, from night clubs to small bars or pubs. Everything!

Also, my roomies and I can share with you prepared Mexican meals, bathroom, bed, living room and more.
