Love meeting new people from different cultures which is why I have been traveling for the last few years. Currently in colombia and loving it. Here to try and learn spanish but starting from scratch so it slow.

You can't quite beat local knowledge of a place. I have known this for quite a while and couchsurfing seems to be a good way to meet people that will have a good local knowledge of areas that I will be visiting, and maybe able to help me get the most out of my time there !

I love all sports, you name it I like it except American football and basketball. They just don't do it for me ! I also love music, I listen to nearly anything but techno and tech house are my favourite. There is nothing quite like a music festival or a warehouse rave.

Currently reading the book 'the beach' which is quite timely as I am just after travelling Thailand. It's the novel for the film made famous by Leonardo di Caprio.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One thing which seems to catch people's interest about me was that I used to be tree surgeon for a while where I used to climb trees to cut them down. 70 and sometimes 80 foot in the air with a chainsaw was a good adrenaline rush. I also had to rescue a cat that was stuck in a tree for 3 days, which is a funny story.
