About Me

Instagram: jorgezelaz
I'm a very open mided spanish guy and I want to travel as much as I can! Living and working abroad has made me realize how important family is to me and working as a primary teacher in French Guiana made me discover I really enjoy spending time with kids (before that job I didn't really like them hahah)... the thing is that I'm not sure if I'll have a kid one day so I want to go back to my place in Madrid to be able to spend as much time as I can with my family .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always been quite curious about foreign cultures and places so I decided to study languages at uni to discover different points of view of the world. To do so you have to travel so you can meet different people but also you can host them at your place and it feels like you are traveling :1 And of course meeting locals is the best way to get to know a city!

Interests

As I mentioned before I like languages. I studied a degree in translation and interpreting and I would love to eventually work as a conference interpreter: At the same time I'm a very chilled person so I don't really stress about it. For now I just want to travel and keep learning from the people I meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I kind of like any type of music, I mean it. It depends on the day, month, phase of life I'm living at that moment. This is my youtube playlists I have... they are quite random xD

Movies. I can enjoy a shit american romcom with Cameron Diaz been a bitch as much as I can love a historic based tear-jerker film like La vita è bella (Life is Beautiful). Again pretty random.

I don't like reading and that sucks lol I really want to like it and be able to talk about literature and everything but I just get bored with the majority of the books I read. Any recommendations? I really need help with this situation hahah I always say to myself that I haven't found a book that is worth my admiration (im just kidding ofc).
