Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Lucas and I'm 23 years old. I live in São Paulo in a very good located place in the heart of the city. It's like, 30 seconds by walking to Avenida Paulista, the most important avenue in here. Seriously, it's like 20 steps from there. My apartment is really big and I live in a building with only 7 floors and one apartment by floor, 3 of them is where my friends live, so the person who stays with us will have a lot of nice people (I swear) to meet. I live with more two people, João, he used to be an international model and Betina, who is a nutritionist, she makes magic in the kitchen. I have a degree in advertising and right now I'm working as a fashion reporter in ELLE BRASIL.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I look forward to make new friends, learn about different cultures and improve my english (or learn new ones). And I'm anxious to host someone open minded who has the will to live the city in it's maximum. I can be a guide to the coolest spots here in São Paulo because I know this city has a lot to offer and it's amazing. People here in Brazil are warm and polite, so I must say I'm no different and I expect the person who comes to be as well.
Interests
My intrests are all in the culture area. I'm obssessed to discover the coolest thing of the moment. The internet is my second house and I'm always searching for new music, movies, fashion shows and things like that. I also enjoy games, specially the indie ones. I'm a forever curious person, so I'm always ready to learn new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite bands are: Portishead, Massive Attack, Radiohead, PJ Harvey, Joy Disivion, Blood Orange, David Bowie, Beatles....
Movies: I like the cult ones :p Tarkovsky, Kubrick, Fellini, Blade Runner, Stalker and stuff.
Books: Touching From a Distance, The Invisible Couture (from a brazilian fashion designer), The Girl of The Band and others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The thing I'm most proud of myself is the charity I've made. I've been part of the Rotary family where I get in touch with elderly people, poor child and those who needs help. And I get used to help them!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not a very skilled person but I can be a good teacher when the subject is the city hahaha. It's like my hobbies to collect information about São Paulo. I also now a little about fashion, music, movies and the culture area, specially the brazilian. I hope I can learn everything the person I host has to teach me. I'm really easygoing so I'm ready for that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good energy. I know it sounds hippie but my house has it and the building, with all of my closest friends (really, I know some of them since like, 10 years ago) it's always fun. We party a lot, feel free to join if you want. We hang out a lot and get together to make dinners or just chat. I can also try to offer as a host, all of the ways so this person can have the best time of his/her life.
