About Me

Check out our new blog! --> https://www.hisandhersjourneys.com/

I am a cheerful person, sometimes a little shy (with strangers), but always trying to look the positive side of life and enjoy it :) I like meeting with new people, especially when they are a big fan of my city and interested in different cultures. I admire people who travel around the world, have the courage to live in different countries every now and then.
I have only 'lived' abroad for a month when I was 17 (in Malta) and it felt scary back then.

Interests

I love music, enjoy opening up a bottle of wine and watch movies, or going out, meeting with new people. I very much enjoy traveling, experiencing other people's cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is very wide ranged, I can listen to almost anything except for rap, hip-hop... Just examples: what I listened since I was sixteen: Placebo, Snow Patrol, The Killers, The Beatles, The Fray, Muse, Parov Stelar, Jason Mraz, Sigur Rós...

Movies... for some reason I like depressive movies without a happy-ending. The ones I really liked are Requiem for a Dream, The Butterfly Effect, I am Sam, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, The Fault in Our Stars, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Keith, Remember Me, 500 Days of Summer, C.R.A.Z.Y., Little Miss Sunshine, P.S. I Love You, Closer, Oldboy....

To be honest unfortunately I rarely read, but the books I read and I liked would be Daniel Keyes: Flowers for Algernon, William Paul Young: The Shack, Orwell: 1984, Antoine de Saint-Exupery: The Little Prince

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I wouldn't call it amazing, but it was definitely a one-time-bucket-list thing: to bath in a fountain in Rome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am curious about other people's experience coming from different countries, like to hear their stories and I really appreciate if someone is totally honest with me and there are no boundaries talking about anything, even about the unpleasant things or what some people would consider as a secret :P

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer amazing hungarian wine if I have free space in my backpack :)

PS for the end... I already hate you if you send me a message saying "I need a place to stay". If you don't even read my status what the hell do you expect, really? Please respect that I am not hosting right now...
