Overview
About Me
***between 2018 Nov and 2019 Nov I am living in Cambodia, working for an art school - unfortunately, I can't host anyone during this time***
CURRENT MISSION
I am happy to share. Life is good, and it is good because of the people you get to know on the way
ABOUT ME
I am currently living in the heart of Budapest, Hungary. Meeting good people and talking and listening until the sun comes up is something I love to do. I will be staying in Budapest for most of the winter, and would be happy to meet travelers and gather inspiration:)
PHILOSOPHY
For when the One Great Scorer comes
To mark against your name,
He writes - not that you won or lost -
But how you played the Game
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a couch:)feel free to contact!Every now and then I do surfing, but usually I think of it too late:(
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In Indonesia: Ihave never had the opportunity to host anyone before - this changes now that I move to a proper house from my dormitory. I stayed at lovely hosts during my travels in Bali and Lombok: it is time to give something back to the community!
In Hungary: I live alone in this small yet magical apartment and I love to share the experience of standing on the terrace looking at the Buda hills, the castle and the churches sharing a "wow" moment with strangers.
I've stayed with hosts in Australia (Broken Hill), the islands of Lombok and Bali, and once in Genova, Italy! All were excellent experiences:)
Interests
Motorcycle tournig, above all. Photography (without a dslr at the moment - too heavy), travelling (no way:)), collecting stories. Puns!

Music, Movies, and Books
Sci-fi, popular science, and I listen to podcasts instead of music for running.
Reading the Maddaddam trilogy at the moment, loved the first one (oryx and crake), undecided about the 2nd book
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding the transsiberian alone back from Irkutsk to Moscow without any substantial knowledge of Russian language. Great, chaotic experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a teacher by trade, but I also used to be a tour guide and a tuk-tuk driver so I do have some insights about the city! I also live in a tiny apartment with a huge, amazing terrace and excellent location that you'd have to see to believe.
I'm very interested in your stories, culture, and photography!
