About Me
CURRENT MISSION
my current mission is to live, and meet likeminded living individuals, maybe swap some stories and some laughs, and maybe end up as friends :)
ABOUT ME
An Idahoan girl on an adventure in Spain.
I believe in the power of empathy and placing yourself on the other side of a situation. Using your intuition and your sense of kindness while traveling helps to keep an open mind. Plenty of water and some good food helps everything run smoothly. Smile at your edges and open your mind and your life to new people and places!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by being clean, responsible, intuitive, empathetic, and most of all open-minded.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience was in San Francisco with one of my closest friends (shown in one of my pictures). I loved it and I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet people you wouldn't otherwise! I am excited for the day when I too can host!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies, and movie nights with good people especially. I love reading and have a particular soft spot for dusty, cozy used book stores and the feeling of actual pages between your fingers. Music is one of the things I would miss if I couldn't have it. I dance so it's a big part of my release, or my "purge" in life - we wouldn't be dancers if we didn't have musicians. Any kind of creative expression makes me happy if it's from a place of hunger and authenticity. Creativity can be broadly defined and I love meeting people with an interesting perspective on it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am currently in the middle of an amazing thing ... I am working as a teaching assistant in the Basque Country! I currently work in Basauri, and live in Bilbao. It's an incredibly beautiful place. I have lived in Spain, traveled around Europe, been a part of a Catalan bike gang that swims under the night sky, owned a dairy goat and ridden a horse in a small town mountain parade ... I suppose I've had a pretty interesting experience thus far on our planet.
Teach, Learn, Share
What can I teach? Maybe how to make great cookies and some interesting dishes. I can teach some belly dancing tricks to you if you're interested (I am a belly dancer, fusion by training, curious by nature). I can also teach you some Spanish and how to hand sew things. I want to learn anything you can teach me, especially if it has to do with living in a city I haven't been to or want to live in and that you happen to live in! I can share good conversation and ideas as well as fears and theoretical situations. I am also very interested in tribal styles of living and communal experiences across different cultures and languages. I think the wisdom of the body and the wisdom of nature rules over almost everything else.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, respect, and laughter.
