About Me

Hi Everyone!
I'm Bogi, living in the amazing Budapest. I study Psychology 8child clinical specialization).
In 2013 i had the opportunity to try couchsurfing and since that time i still feel that that's the best way of being a local for some days in a foreigner country. That was the year when i lived in Switzerland and travelled all around the country and also visited other places. I have nothing else but great memories of couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because i think that staying with locals is the best way to meet the real face of the city. I have only amazing experiences with couchsurfing. I met only interesting and special people thanks to Couchsurfing so far. Any time when i have the chance to travel somewhere with friends or on my own i can't wait to surf again! :)
I find it amazing that people share their flat (and life as well) with total strangers, I really appreciate it!

Interests

Nowdays i spend most of my freetime with voluntary jobs. I love being a volunteer, i believe that i get back a lot more love throught these experiences that i could ever give and also i learn a lot about the whole world. I meet amazing people who have a lot of energy to look always in the future and believe in great things!

I like working with disadvantaged children. I work sometimes with refugee children in one of the refugee camps in Hungary.

Music, Movies, and Books

As i love reading it would be difficult to pick only a couple of books.
Instead of that here's some hungarian music if anyone is interested:
The carbonfools-Hideaway
Szabó Balázs Bandája-Bájoló
ByeAlex-Hé Budapest!
Wellhello-Rakpart
PASO-No love in town
Irie Maffia-Jump up

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is paragliding for sure! THAT.WAS.JUST.AWSOME.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Change ideas and fun facts about the cultures and the differences between them.
I study psychology and i'm quite interested in it so i can share the psychological aspects of different things as well.
For almost 3 years i'm quite active in being a voluntary especially with children and adolescents with difficult and disadvantaged beckground and i learned more from them than i can ever teach them. So i can share this knowledge.
And if my host is brave and want to taste some hungarian dish, well it is my pleasure to cook. I prepared the same dish for all of my hosts. None of them was disappointed so far. ;)
