About Me

Hello,
I am mostly a goofball. I am an artist and a musician. I enjoy delicious meals, homemade or in restaurants. Sushi and Thai food are favorites but my job is pizza. I deliver pizzas because I enjoy driving around my city. In our workplace we have a saying, "pie till ya die" and honestly I think it is hilarious. Working in a pizza place is nearly like traveling because amazing people are constantly in the revolving door of employment and you always come across eccentric people that are just looking for the next thing. Lots of musicians and artists, and grungy pot heads (I live in Seattle). Wait, did I just describe myself? Yes I am a grungy pot head artist/musician that is also a goofball. I am mostly a chill person, and I fall kinda in between introverted and extroverted. Most of the time I lean more towards introverted. I am often shy at first but I am quite the talker once I get settled. I really love dogs and people but if there is a cute dog... well sorry. :/ But for real though, I love dogs. I am not a big drinker or bar fan but if it has a chill vibe, i'd be down to get a manhattan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A long time ago, I hosted someone and had a blast. I am taking a trip to Spain in the fall and on the way there and back I will be spending a few nights in NYC and Pennsylvania. I'm taking the trip in honor of a friend that passed away a little over two years ago. I am visiting his grave and hometown on my way back to Seattle. He was a big lover of travel and so am I but I haven't been able to for awhile. I met him many years ago when we both worked in Yellowstone National Park. He influenced me to change my life during our time in YNP together and his death has influenced me to go after my dreams and to push past my limitations. This trip symbolically is about the end of our journey together and the start of days that he will never receive. The day I arrive in Spain, I will have travelled this earth the same amount of days he did before he died. I want to honor my days and all the days he didn't get to have. This is very cheesy but that is the truth about why I am couchsurfing/travelling. I think that the connections we make with people are truly special, and that even the smallest interactions can potentially have a lasting impression. I'd love to meet hosts that feel the same way, and appreciate this somewhat spiritual journey that I am taking.

Interests

My hobbies are making erotic art. I have been focusing on my projects for 2019 and hopefully I will complete them and get them into a 2020 erotic art festival. Honestly, making art has been one of my main focuses lately.

I also love hiking. Waterfalls are spectacular. Always down to see more of those. Washington State has so much hiking. I think I could live here the rest of my life and not hike all the trails.

Music, Movies, and Books

This always annoys me and I don't ever want to fill it out. There is so much good stuff out there.
I've been making my way through Gasper Noes films recently. I've also been going to Scarecrow movie store which is the best movie store left in existence and finding obscure yet amazing titles that hardly anyone would know. For instance Turkey Shoot. Total Australian flop from the 80's, they spent an absurd amount of money on this film and everything in it is real. They lit an entire field of grass on fire in the movie out in like the jungle. Honestly, it is fantastic if you get a chance go watch it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, I spent over 100 hours creating, shooting, editing, and recording music for an erotic film that was only 5 minutes long and I submitted it to an amateur film festival. It did not get accepted but I finished the thing all by myself and I think that is pretty amazing.
