About Me

《Not all those who wander are lost》
I think that sums me up! Life is all about getting lost in the beauty of the world, isn't it?

When I travel, I want to do every kind of activity that the country has to offer. Sports, museums, walks... My goal is to see as much of a different culture as I can! I surely don't travel as much as I would like to, but it is so because I have to fulfill my main mission, which is primary school teaching. I love to share my passion for reading and to see the stars in kids' eyes when they finally get how to read!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to be a part of Couchsurfing because I love to learn about new cultures and to share mine. I believe the best way to understand a country is to spend some time with its people! And who's better at showing guests less touristic places than those who live there? Therefore, I am mostly on Couchsurfing to be shown the secrets of the cities I visit!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
- Forrest Gump
- The Green Mile
- Fight Club
- Cloud Atlas
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Any Tim Burton movie!

I am actually a movie lover, any Disney movie, drama, comedy, well, I watch all kinds of movies! Except horror. I am too weak for that.

I enjoy listening to music, but don't have any specific tastes...

Books:
- The Lovely Bones
- Grimm's Fairy Tales
- Children's books in general (perks of being a teacher)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is a pretty simple adventure, but one that I will forever remember. I worked for a summer in a camp in Switzerland where I had the chance to meet so many people, kids and counselors, coming from a lot of different countries. I learned so much from different cultures while being in the beautiful Swiss Alps!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love French and I love to help people learn it (and if I teach you French, you will have the advantage of speaking with a wonderful French-canadian accent!).
I can also teach you how to cook a fantastic Québec poutine (I'm just kidding, it's impossible to have a fantastic poutine outside of Québec, no country has the right cheese; so I could teach you how to cook a poutine that's going to be ok)!

Since I work with kids most of the time, I have a lot of great stories to share!

And as for what I would like to learn... Anything anyone has to offer! I am curious so, the more I can learn, the happier I am

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer my Canadian culture and some of my random knowledge, my wonderful French accent, my laughs, my thoughts... I want to share a great time with my hosts, as simple as that!
