About Me
Hi!
I am Márton, a med student living in Budapest.
It’s my passion of discovery what drives me - to get to know new places, new people and a new face of the world - and to try new beers and spirits.
When I am somewhere, I try to be one of the locals, to see with their eyes, that’s why I am here 😉

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
Mór Jókai: Novel of the next century (this is one of the first sci-fis, written in 1872 by a great Hungarian novelist)
Peter Frankopan: The Silk Roads (a fascinating book about history which changed the way how I see the world)
Richard Dawkins: The selfish gene; Nick Lane: Life ascending (two books on evolution which showed me there’s no more beautiful thing then life itself)
Music:
Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Beirut, Goran Bregovic, Trio Mandili, Red Army Choir and always discovering new kinds of folk music from any corners of the world...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had a chance to spend some time in the most interesting places on the Earth (in my opinion at least): Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China. Spending the time with locals, travelling around in this epicentre of culture is a memory I’ll never forget.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope I can share my enthusiasm :) And I am open to learn anything.
