ABOUT ME
My name is Amelie. I just graduated from a Master degree and am looking for some fun beefore starting working. I enjoy a nice conversation and can be very out-going.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's been a while since I first heard about Couchsurging, but I never really got a chance to use it. I couldn't really host and wasn't traveling at the time. I am now on a road trip around the USA and am very happy to meet new people in every town thanks to Couchsurfing. I hope to be able to host myself, once settled in Japan.
Interests
I'm really interested in Japan and have been there for a year, 6 months in Tokyo and 6 months in Nagoya. I really like the culture there, and I can talk for hours about it.
I like to read a lot. It almost qualify as an addiction. I read a lot of Fantasy and Sci-Fi. I am always happy to hear about new books to read or talk about my favorite ones. I also happen to watch a few TV shows. I like relaxing in front a couple episods after going home.
As it is, I also have a little nerdy side. I like video games and role playing games, and although I don't have the time to play as much as I once did, I still enjoy remembering and when I can, playing a little.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite Music : I listen to a lot of Pop, J-Pop... I am not particularly difficult on music, and apart from Rap, I like and listen to a lot of different types of music.
Favorite Movies : Tough question. I enjoy watching all kinds of movies so it is really hard for me to make a list.
Favorite Books : As already said, I read a lot. Specially Fantasy and Sci-Fi. My favorite books (mostly because they got me into reading in the first place and I still read them every once in a while) would be Harry Potter. After that... Too much to list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Japan two times and for me it was the most amazing thing to do. I bathed in an onsen, prayed into traditionnal shrines in Kyoto, worked in Harajuku (Tokyo)...
The second thing would be the road trip accross the USA I am now on.
