About Me

Hi, my name is Marcin. I'm a 31-year-old teacher. I live in Kraków. I happened to be a guest as well as a host for Couchsurfers several times.

---------- ABOUT ME ----------
Among other things I really love travelling, especially as a backpacker and a hitch-hiker. Since a few years, I have shared this passion with my wife. There are still many places we haven't been to, though. A few years ago, I went on a hitch-hiking trip, which was fantastic . And since then I absolutely love this way of travelling. Last year my wife and I went on a three months long trip to Asia. We mostly hitch-hiked there and being hosted by Couchsurfers was remarkably helpful. We met a lot of nice people this way and it made our stay there even more enjoyable.

Another big interest of mine is programming as well as training and bodybuilding. I like playing computer games as well - especially the fantasy-themed ones. Fantasy is actually another one of my interests - not only games, but also books and films.

Other hobbies are mountain-hiking and learning languages. I also like playing the piano and drawing or painting from time to time.

---------- HOSTING ----------
If we are free to do so, my wife and I are usually happy to host Couchsurfers. We live in a big house, so if we accept your request, you can expect a private room to sleep in. Keep in mind however that we live on the outskirts of the city and getting to the city center from our house takes around 1 to 1,5 hour by public transport (more, if you are coming directly from the airport as we live on the opposite side of the city). On the other hand, the area here is very nice and there may be some places nearby worth visiting, too. You can also expect to have something to eat in our house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing makes travelling much easier and provides lots of opportunities to meet interesting people. That's why I'm here: to travel and meet people! :)
