About Me

*** CURRENTLY WORKING ABROAD ***

Hi there! I'm from Switzerland. I have just graduated from a Master in International Law in Geneva and I lived more than a year in Turkey (Gaziantep), then 6 months in Central African Republic in the humanitarian/development sector. I deeply love travelling, this is for me the best way to understand better our world and become a true citizen of this planet! I strongly believe that kindness is one of the most important quality a person have :)
I am an independant and empathetic woman, I enjoy traveling alone and volunteering abroad, I don't like to rush from one city to another. I am a bit of an introvert sometimes until I get comfortable with the people around me :)

I love unexpected questions or conversations that make you think about life in a meaningful way . I love taking care of people and make them feel as happy, welcome and comfortable as I can :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love Couchsurfing because there is no better way to learn about a country and a particular city than to discover it with a local!

Interests

I am super interested in my studies, international relations, human rights, development and global studies in general. I love learning how our world work, where it does mess up and try to think of way to improve it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling alone in Myanmar for a month, a trip I'll always remember.
Skydiving in Switzerland!
Scuba-diving with sharks in South Africa.
Sleeping in the middle of the savannah in South Africa, with no fences. Just a guide, the stars and hearing the animals around. Two of the best nights in my life!
Volunteering in Vietnam with disabled children and finding a second family there. It changed my perception on life forever and it makes me wanna strive in my studies to be able to take my responsabilities for a better world.
Organising a 2-Day Event to promote entrepreneurship to young women in Lebanon, Beirut.
Travelling alone as a backpacker in Ecuador and 10 days in the wonderful Galapagos!
Living 2 months in Barranquilla, Colombia and travelling alone there. Volunteered with a small foundation helping vulnerable women.
Living and working in Central African Republic - a very difficult experience but I learnt a lot.
Become a scuba-diving divemaster (= a professional guide) in Mexico and then going on the most epic liveabord.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you wanna train your French, here I am!! :) I'm not a good cook but I love to share one with my host with good discussions, maybe a bottle of wine or some beer beside?
I love hearing people's stories and you best tip for your favourite places in your country :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share whatever you want to share with me! I love good discussions with some good food and I'm a very respectful person :)
