I am Barbora, 22years old student. I come from the Czech Republic, the heart of Europe. I love my country, however, travelling is my biggest passion. I live by the motto: traveling broadens your mind. Thats why I enjoy it so much. I've met a lot of people and gained so much experience during my years of travel. Two years ago I decided to get to know myself a little more and went to England and after to Spain to work as an au pair for half a year. This summer, I participated in Work and Travel exchanging programme and went to USA to Long Island to work as a server in a golf country club. In the second part of the programme, I went on a roadtrip with my friends and we travelled all along east coast. I visited states such as New York, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join Couchsurfing because I think that's a great way of traveling. I was Couchsurfing as a guest with my friend during my stay in USA. I was Couchsurfing in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Orlando and Miami.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing for me was when I decided at my 19yo. to go to England to work as an au pair. I gained so much experience and it moved me a little further ahead :)
