About Me
Hi, cześć, hola, oi!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
An obvious reason, CS is the perfect platform for meeting people anywhere you go. What would be a travel without encounters?
Interests
I try to conduct my own research in development economics (very early stage!). Mostly, I'm interested in progress issues in the region of Latin America, but also in the rest of the rising world. I follow the manifold shades of human culture and tend to capture it, then admire it.
I wish to travel as much as possible, since I strongly believe that no book can teach you that much about the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
(1) I'm a meloman. Love going on gigs. Rock music for life, The Mars Volta is my adult-time fav.
(2) I'm a bookworm. Although mostly I read my boring scientific stuff (Stiglitz, Acemoglu, Rodrik and other guys), I also try with some interesting fiction like this from Roberto Bolaño, J.M. Coetzee or Bohumil Hrabal.
(3) I cherish committed journalism, too. From the classic literary reportage of master Kapuściński to modern-day pieces from Vice News. I have a romance with poetry - both observational and empirical.
