About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To share my awesome Spicy Roast Lamb Recipe

ABOUT ME

Lover of the outdoors, good music and a good BBQ. I try and squeeze into my day as much as possible and I'm always on the go. I love travelling and experiencing new languages and cultures and hearing travel stories from other people of the road.

PHILOSOPHY

I search for opportunities to expand my universe. Weather it's trying a new sport, reading a new book, learning a new language, pulling up next to a stranger in a pub, or sharing stories with fellow travellers. I get a real kick out of learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Iv hosted and looked after couch surfers that have needed beds back in my home town - Auckland and have taken a dozen travellers surfing at my home beach. At the moment, I am now travelling in South America for 6 months. Iv been a member of Couch surfing for a year but have been super slack at getting my profile up and running so I consider myself quite new to the couch surfing community

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once I hosted a group of 4 Argentinians for three nights and they were great value. Sharing their crazy music and stories from Buenos Aires- We kept in touch and 2 years later, I was in Buenos Aires and in need of a bed. I got way more than I bargained for. These guys took me out on the town and saw the most epic dance show followed by a Funk Band gig in a night club. We didn't come home till the sunrise!! Exchanges like this are once in a lifetime and I am still great friends with these guys today.

Interests

Surfing, Snowboarding, hiking, running, making lots of noise: playing trumpet or the drums or composing, going to concerts, being geeky and making gizmos from kits that you get at the electronics store. I also love Playing Rugby, Touch, Rowing and Surfboat Rowing.
